Ramping up for the new site, we are growing our team, and are now looking for our new Head of hospitality.
DIGS is central Norway’s leading hub for startups, scaleups, creators and innovators. As of spring 2019, we are relocating our space to a new building located at Peter Egges plass. Within this location we will be offering curated memberships and flexible workspace to over 500 core members, and inspiring event spaces hosting 10,000 guests annually. We are also establishing a food & beverage concept that targets core members, event guests, as well as the general public. This also includes visitors and tourist wishing to experience the St. Clement’s Church archeological site, also located in our building.
DIGS is eagerly on the hunt to find our new Head of Hospitality, a person highly motivated to creating a unique experience for guests, members and visitors. Additionally, shaping services that cater to members and guests.
As Head of Hospitality, you will be responsible for the overall hospitality offering at DIGS, including the event department as well as food & beverage. You will play a key role in building a new hospitality and services team. Your main responsibilities could include:
- Sales, new business and generating leads
- Manage bookings, event operations and the premises
- Hire and manage a hospitality team
- Work closely with food & beverage to provide an offering and operations aligned with overall concept
- Ensure effective operations and high quality of customer service
- Reporting, budget follow-up and cost controls
- Generate relevant content and curate an exciting event programme
Preferably, you have experience from the hospitality and event sector. Additional consideration given to experience within hotel & conference, event consulting and/or food & beverage. Fluent in oral and written English and a Scandinavian language.
